Q performs with music royalty

One thing a relocation has constantly reminded me is that there is always more to learn, more people to meet and the road of excellence is a life-long journey. I recently had the had opportunity to work with legendary singer/actress, Ms. Freda Payne. Though many people know her from her 1970 hit "Band of Gold", she has deep Jazz roots including her first recording released in 1963 that features the likes of Phil Woods, Zoot Sims, Hank Jones and more. She released a new recording and a book this year and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon... Blessings, -RQ
