All hail to the King, Roy Haynes

On March 13th I was asked to acknowledge one of the best musicians in the history of ALL music on his 96th birthday, Mr. Roy Owen Haynes. I’m humbled to pay tribute this giant of a drummer, and also have my words featured among some of my favorite musical colleagues, friends and mentors.
